I don’t feel any more enthusiastic about the whole homepage thing, it’s just that I’ve accumulated this website, so thought I’d better at least make a passing reference to myself.
It appears that I share my name with a hill in New Zealand, as can be seen on this page of Places in New Zealand beginning with “Sm” (there’s even a map). If you were looking for the hill and ended up here by mistake, then please accept my apologies for the confusion.
I’m currently thinking about finding a job, and my CV is available. There are also links to some friends’ pages, and a couple of photos featuring some of them. My random rebuttals generator provides seconds of entertainment, and my bookmarks are also on-line.
Other sections of the site contain more useful information — there’s a whole bunch of information on using the Vim editor, as well as details of Gloobs, a simple object-oriented graphics library I developed.
